The attendance for this Fair averages over 1.1 million guests.

 --- Midway ---

James E. Strates Shows has played the fair since 1924 and still provides the midway with approximately 70 rides and 100 games.

​The Strates Midway is the only railroad carnival operating in the US. The 61 car train travels over 6,500 miles and to 16 cities each and every season.

​Transportation will be provided to and from the Erie County Fairgrounds.  Admission tickets are not included in this trip package.  

AUGUST GATE ADMISSION pricing will be available online August 1-17 and at the gate during the Fair, August 6-17 (credit/debit card only).

Adults (13 & over)  $22.60 ($20.00 + $2.60 in merchant service provider fees)
Kids 12 & under  FREE (no ticket necessary) Kids 12 & under will need to be accompanied by an adult to receive free entry.
NOTE: Only credit/debit card will be accepted at admission gates. No cash sales.

Transportation

Transportation will be provided by Holiday Coach Company. Please ensure you are at the pickup location 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.​

​Visiting the canadian side of the falls

An enhanced driver's license or a valid passport is required to walk across the International Bridge to Canada. From the Canadian side, you can enjoy the view of the falls, visit the Fallsview Casino, or indulge in some shopping.​
